Vehicle Specific Subwoofer Boxes & Q-Logic Kickpanels & Speaker Boxes:
 | Audio Dynamics Custom Subwoofer Boxes:
Audio Dynamics manufactures
their subwoofer boxes at their state of the art facility in Houston, Texas,
USA. Which means all of their products are made in America with great
attention to detail, precision, and quality. All speaker boxes are made from
MDF (medium density fiberboard) with computer-controlled CNC routers.
Subwoofer boxes are available carpeted, uncarpeted, or covered in a
polyurethane coating. All speaker boxes come with a one year warranty. ADD specializes in custom truck subwoofer boxes. Some of their more popular lines for chevy/gm include the avalanche subwoofer boxes and chevy crew cab boxes. For dodge would be the dodge ram quad cab sub boxes. Their top selling ford boxes would be the ford F150 and F250 subwoofer boxes. When it comes to "hard to find" custom speaker boxes, audio dynamics has the solution. They are one of the only manufacturers to make a 2001 to 2004 Toyota Tacoma double cab prerunner subwoofer box!

ProBox Subwoofer Enclosures:
ProBox has become the nation's leader in automobile subwoofer
enclosures, and the people's choice for the ultimate experience in
quality and sound. ProBox holds the title for '91-'92 U.S.A.C. world
champion, unlimited spl. With over 20 years of sound design behind us,
it's obvious ProBox comes out in the lead.
The
ProBox enclosure is made from HDF (high density fiberboard) with the
computer-controlled precision of CNC routers. We have created a special
style of assembly that we call "The Stack". The HDF is cut into layers
that conform to the contours of the floor of the truck. The frame of
the speaker box is then glued and nailed together one layer at a time. Once
assembled, the entire enclosure is sanded to a seamless finish, and our
special ProBox Armor Coat is applied.
To achieve maximum performance, we recommend using an amp with
"Bass Boost" and a 12 to 18 dB boost at 45 Hz with the crossover point
at 90 Hz and down. With gains set correctly and "Bass Boost" turned on,
your ProBox will deliver an awesome performance you'll want to show off
to all your friends. All of our ProBoxes are made with pride in the
USA, and come with a one year warranty.
Q-Logic Enclosures:

The birth of
Q-Custom
subwoofer enclosures and
Q-Form kick panels began in the
Q-Logic
R&D (research and development) installation bay. Engineers first
examine the target vehicle and determine preliminary subwoofer and
kick
panel locations. While carefully removing interior panels, engineers
meticulously measure and calculate the available surface area.
Q-Logic Kickpanels are measured first. Driver and passenger panels are removed
and replaced with test speakers. Music is pumped through the midrange
and tweeter component system and listening tests begin. Each engineer
positions the component system at different angles to determine optimum
imaging and staging for both driver and passenger locations.
Microphones are then strategically placed throughout the interior where
measurements are verified. At this stage, some minor adjustments are
made to ensure exact speaker placement.
The Q-Customs enclosure is measured second. Areas are measured to
determine the amount of airspace (cubic feet) available in the vehicle.
Since subwoofer frequencies are omni-directional, placement is not as
scientific compared to high frequency speaker systems (Q-Forms.) The
most important consideration is matching size of the subwoofer to the
amount of available air space. After the engineers have calculated the
proper amount of cubic feet available, the "Mold Negative" process
begins.
Both Q-Forms and Q-Customs speaker enclosure molds start with the
fabrication of real wood/body filler/fiberglass plugs. Body filler and
fiberglass help technicians mold the enclosure to the contours of the
sheet metal which optimizes every cubic inch of the target area for the
enclosure's "air space." Finishing touches are done for aethetics and
the "Mold Negative is converted into a cast aluminum tool for use in
production.

JL Audio Stealthbox Custom Subwoofer Boxes:
Loading a small sealed subwoofer box like many of our custom truck boxes with just any subwoofer simply will not produce the quality of sound you are looking for. JL Audio's line of
subwoofers are made to work well in these types of enclosures. The
JL Audio 10W1v2 works well in many of our subwoofer boxes all the way down to a .625 cubic ft air space and as little as 4.34" mounting depth! Need even less mounting depth? Try the
JL Audio 13TW5-3 Shallow Mount Subwoofer. With only 2 1/2" of mounting depth, 1200 watts peak power, and only .8 cu ft. of air space, this little monster will provide that low frequency punch in the tightest spaces!
